What's new

New features and improvements in Kadero, release by release.

v2.23.0October 14, 2026

Your own checklist, and mark a room not accessible as you pick it

The checklist now holds only what you put on it, and ticks itself on the phone. In a room-by-room inspection you mark a room as not accessible right when you pick it.

v2.22.0October 13, 2026

Uploaded photos fall into place, and cost items that match the material come first

Photos you upload in the report editor take their place by the time they were taken. Cost items that name the material of a finding come first in the cost search and in cost proposals on the phone.

v2.21.0October 12, 2026

Cost types per cost line, and a gebrek wizard that fits the vlak

On per-urgentie reports you set the kostentype per cost line. On the phone, the gebrek wizard shows only the soorten and belemmeringen that fit the vlak.

v2.20.0October 12, 2026

Dero knows your whole report and proposes changes you can take over

Dero reads every finding in your report, shows suggested texts, scores and costs as rows you accept or ignore, and looks up how you wrote about the same element before. On the phone, the finding now appears in place instead of in a sheet.

v2.19.0October 11, 2026

Find elements by the name you use, and Dero at hand in your report

Adding an element in the web editor finds the name you type, the phone proposes costs from your cost library, room reports get clearer positions and a short room summary, and Dero sits at the bottom of the Rapport tab.

v2.18.0October 7, 2026

Overzicht or Detail on every nulmeting photo, and the room per vlak in the online report

In a nulmeting you mark each photo as Overzicht or Detail and flag a gebrek right in the photo viewer, and captions read the same everywhere. The online report shows a room per vlak, and the phone opens your projects without a connection.

v2.17.0October 5, 2026

Your own checklist, saved once and picked on every inspection

Save your standard items as a checklist and pick it on the next inspection. Crop photos in the web editor, and switch off the Kadero credit in the report footer yourself.

v2.16.0October 2, 2026

Finish a report in three steps, and see your whole team's inspections

Afronden is now three steps in one window, admins see every inspection in the organisation, and you can give an element your own name.

v2.12.0-2.14.0September 8, 2026

A report your client can read, and chapters you can edit where you read them

The digital report on a phone with questions answered on the spot, three chapters editable in the editor itself, and settings reorganised around what they actually control.

v2.8.0-2.11.1September 2, 2026

Three things you may have missed

Photos Kadero sorts for you, your costs as Excel, and a completed report you can reopen.

v2.11.1September 1, 2026

You see what's new, right away

Kadero now tells you when something is new: one short window when you open the app, a dot next to Help, and the full changelog always within reach.

v2.11.0September 1, 2026

Small things that work a little better

A selectable condition score on findings with no photos yet, correct client addresses and photo-caption fonts in generated reports, and a fix for reports with photos in custom chapters that could not be shared.

v2.10.0September 1, 2026

More room for your photos

Room for 400 photos per inspection with a warning before you hit the ceiling, larger annotated photos on the gebrek sheet, and a completion path that no longer drops work still waiting to sync.

v2.9.0August 30, 2026

Inspection points while you record

Inspection points shown live while you record, a nulmeting report that reads as its own document, and camera and photo-annotation reliability fixes.

v2.8.0August 28, 2026

From photos to a finished report

Drag your photos and Kadero builds the report, reopen a completed report with versions, custom chapters in the document template, a simpler project start, and your costs as Excel.

v2.5.1-2.7.0August 25, 2026

Create projects on your phone

One project view on web, your own text first, and a notice when a newer report version exists.

v2.5.0August 17, 2026

Better texts, and your reference reports count

Generated observation text gets a quality upgrade, your uploaded reference reports now genuinely shape it, and two report bugs are fixed.

v2.4.0August 13, 2026

Free inspection without a fixed element list

A free inspection you can record without the element catalogue, asbestos and wood decay as their own report chapters, and background text you control per element.

v2.3.0August 8, 2026

Costs by year, with grouped totals

Costs presented per year with grouped totals, project details permanently in view during an inspection, and property chips that stay put in the report.

v2.2.0August 8, 2026

Faster capture and a clearer editor

A clearer report editor, faster capture with grouped room and element pickers, and project context always within reach during your inspection.

v2.1.0July 28, 2026

Your own words stay as you said them

Dictate an observation and keep your own words, start an inspection without a cover photo, and cancel a voice take before it sends.

v2.0.0July 24, 2026

Photograph and speak, your finding gets written out

A completely renewed mobile inspection flow: photograph, speak, and your findings are written for you. Plus a smoother report editor and big reliability improvements.

Your calendar, clients and team in one place

A web calendar with external sync, client management in project creation, a team-performance dashboard, weather capture on mobile, and photo rotation in the report editor.
