Your own words stay as you said them
July 28, 2026
A follow-up to the renewed inspection flow, focused on giving you more control over what gets written down and on making the flow forgiving when something goes wrong mid-recording.
More control over your text
- Dictate in your own words: speak an observation and keep the literal transcript, without anything being rewritten for you. Your words appear on screen while you talk.
- Cancel a take: stopped a recording by accident, or started over halfway? A cancel button on the recording pill discards the take before it is sent, so nothing gets processed you did not intend.
A faster start
- Cover photo is optional: start an inspection right away and add the cover photo later, or leave it out entirely.
Fixes
- Opening a completed inspection from the recent list in the sidebar no longer leads to an empty screen.
- Changes you make offline are now applied in the right order once you reconnect, so a reordered chapter or finding can no longer end up in the report the wrong way round.
- Opening an address in Google Maps works again on devices where it silently failed.
- Fewer camera hiccups when opening the app, and faster deletion of large projects.
