Free inspection without a fixed element list

August 13, 2026

This release opens up the free inspection on your phone and adds two hazards inspectors used to type in by hand.

Free inspection

  • Record sections by voice, without picking an element: a free inspection no longer forces you through the element catalogue. You speak per section and the report follows what you said.
  • Attachments get their own chapter: documents you add to a free inspection now print as a Bijlagen chapter instead of staying invisible.
  • Costs print too: an estimated cost per finding now reaches the report in a costs chapter.

Asbestos and wood decay

  • Two new chips during the inspection: mark a finding as asbestos suspected or confirmed, and record wood decay as houtworm, boktor, zwam or houtrot.
  • Each one becomes its own chapter: a report lists every flagged element in an asbestos chapter and a wood decay chapter. Report nothing and the chapter stays out.

In the editor

  • Background text per element, in front of you: every element shows its achtergrond directly, and each text has its own remove and add-context control.
  • Editing one instance no longer changes the other: background text you edit on one finding stays on that finding, also when the same element occurs twice.
  • Weather is correctable: weather condition, temperature and humidity can be adjusted afterwards.
  • Longer terms and conditions: algemene voorwaarden accept much longer text, and you get a real message when something does not fit.

Getting started and reporting

  • Skip the report upload: the onboarding step that asks for an example report can be skipped and picked up later.
  • Bouwlaag where it belongs: you can enable bouwlaag as an optional field on report types that are not NHG, and the app and the web now agree on when it applies.
  • Chapters you add later still print: a chapter added after a project was created now appears in the PDF of that project.

Reliability

  • The camera no longer freezes silently when a photo capture stalls.
  • Report preview handles a failing or slow photo instead of dropping it or hanging forever.
  • Attachment order you set by dragging is kept.
  • General security and reliability improvements.
